| That's the $10,000,000 question Ted! It's not just with software either, more so with machinery. I hear so many complain about how unreliable and deficient certain Deere products are (including APEX) and yet I see those same people who complain drive up in another new green product. You'd think they'd learn!!! Nope, they just keep buying into the whole solid, stable still a Deere with "near-by" service and support marketing palaver, and therefore always willing to accept downtime as an option on the Deere order form when buying new products. You will never get a straight answer from a Deere owner as to why they keep buying the same Deere products they are always complaining about. It's a pride (dumb) thing. Watch folks at a Deere exhibit at a farm show, they hang on every word those Deere folks say...and then they all go jump off a bridge ;-)
