N/E Iowa | Told me the same thing take two five gallon pails and clean it out and throw it back on top of the feed in the feeder..... NO, Thats not how i have done it for 20 years, and not going to start. The first cold day (-15) i'm calling them out and hope they have a hammer and chisel cause there gunna need it to get the frozen feed to feed down. Oh they also said open up the feeder, tried it doesn't work they waste the chit out of it on the ground. I am half tempted to try something else before it's to crappy out, but i'm afraid of switching these feeder calves and getting them sick.... Any thoughts, and what are you guys feeding that are feeding out of a self feeder to finish out fat cattle? I need a harder pellet to mix with oats that we have, and shelled corn.. HELP........ This soft meal type pellet isn't going to work for me:( | |
