N/E Iowa | 350 pds per ton, I have a 3 ton grinder, so I get 1,050 pds of acuration starter. And don't quote me but i think it was $228.00 for 1,050 pds. Haven't bought any for two weeks. I mix it with shelled corn, and oats IF I back the protien down 200 pds per grinding. What are you "smaller" cattle herds feeding that seems to work good, and will be there when you need them?
32 head roughly 500 pds, with free choice of grass hay are eating 3 ton feeder down nearly empty in 10 days. Just looking for some answers. Thanks
