SC Nebraska | We have FC side by side with Channel, side by side with Pioneer, side by side with Dekalb. I can tell you that I saw no difference in seed prior to planting, no difference in emergence, and from walking it, can't see any readily visible difference in plant health, slight variances in ear size/length/girth, no perceivable difference with pollination.
I will be more than happy to post back after harvest with yield data if someone reminds me.
And BTW I have no stake in the game, not a dealer for anything, and I could care less which one yields more. It will be a truly unbiased test, and I am totally ready to ditch a hybrid and/or brand if one sucks. | |
