Weed control was always OK, not what I'd consider excellant. RUR crops have moved the bar so much higher! Anyway, from memory I'd say 80-85%. We were using Dual and glyphosate as a burn down, everything else was post. I don't remember the mix now well enough that I'd want to type it here.

I said we didn't have experiance w/ strip till in the conventional sense- our normal way to plant was zone till. Had 3 Rawson coukter per row in 30's. We never did try to plant dry beans with that system, wish I would have some times. The rye should be a help to you, but it won't do the job w/o some herbicide help. What's your primary weed pressure from?
