Trenton, KY | I guess we got lucky, because everything we had pollinated well this year. We were 2/3 Agri-Gold and 1/3 Pioneer this year and we did have Pioneer 1253HR planted beside Agri-Gold 6553 VT3, and Saturday we checked the two against each other.
Agri-Gold 6553 VT3 #1 - 181.4 bu./ac. 17.1% moisture
Pioneer 1253 HR #1 - 173.5 bu./ac. 14.4% moisture
Agri-Gold 6553 VT3 #2 - 176.0 bu./ac. 16.8% moisture
Pioneer 1253 HR #2 - 167.4 bu./ac. 14.2% moisture
Im not trying to down one or the other, but since this was brought up I figured Id post what I found when I checked the two corns. | |
