| Hmmmmm our church is going to be in the middle of this type thing pretty soon I feel. Young people WILL SHOW UP for a certain type music. They WON'T SHOW UP for just slow hymns. When they do show up you get to feed them a little. When they don't show up you get to feed them NOTHING! In the bible they worship God with many different insturments, I'm betting they used all they had. Some respected leaders even danced in the street in victory celebrations.
Church should never be "my way or the hiway". If you feel that way you are probably the one that needs the hiway.
PS I'm not in the "music crowd"(can't carry a tune in a bucket and have no idea what them little tadpole looking things on a stick mean!!) so really don't have a dog in the fight that way but if blending gets more "ears" in the house I'm all for it. | |
