North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !

thekcirp - 8/19/2011 09:20 Forage beans are what we grow here where i live. They get big and rank and healthy looking, but they joint too far apart and dont pod up at the joints as well. They tend to mature later than normal and generally dont yield worth a crap. They look just like the beans in the pics that have been shown recently, the ones I commented on. I'm sure in those cases the pic just dont do the beans justice. Thats what forage beans are.

well,  maybe you consider 70-80-  Bu. low in your area thekcrip.

we are not so fortunate as you thekrip.

the NK.  2.7's are the BIG yields from weight slip sold records.

here. and the only  90 to 110 Bu. approx yields that I am aware of. or have access to receipts from.  in certain and specific areas.

and the co. average is 55 to 60 here. some years.

I am sure there are better in Ohio this season for sure.
