I was/am a big aerway fan. All my primary tillage was with an aerway...no plow for decades.
My yields spoke for themselves with this management. Only challenge was corn residue but we have used chopping corn heads for nearly 20 years.

My system: chopping corn head, aerway, JD 550 mulchmaster.
This was an odd system but it was very economical and produced bin buster yields without the residue being a nuisance.
