| I heard on the news the other day to really watch your line line phone bills as there is something going on called phone slamming. We get several land line bills for our houses and I remember our bill was higher then normal. So decided to dig it out and check. On the news they said it is usually buried in the back pages of your bill. So I found it, there was a charge for $19.99 for some web something or another. I called the number up and the lady said that someone from our email address (she told it too me) had clicked on something that gave authorization. It is the computer that Dave uses so his fingers clicked on something he shouldn't have. Lady said it was to make a web page. Well, Dave I am sure doesn't want to make a web page so I got her to cancel it and she said it was already charged for two more months. She is issuing me a check for the total amount. So be careful out there you guys that have land lines. It is called phone slamming. | |
