From reading various posts on these boards, it appears most of us view the mainstream media through a rather critical lens (as opposed to many in the country who swallow what the news is peddling). In particular, for me, the mention of NBC news specials always conjure up memories of placing incendiary devices in pickups in order to "enhance" the "investigative reporting".
