Little River, TX | i do know of an operator that might let u sit on his lap and run the handle if you are into that sort of thing. I realize your were mostly speaking in Jest, but a jump seat in one of those big honking, turbo prop powered machines would be really something. Now 200 pounds of beef sitting in a jump seat would subtract considerable material &/or fuel, but it would be a great option.
In the good old days, a company took out the hopper and inserted an instructors seat in, I presume, Pawnee D's. Now that took out all ability for application, but a slightly wider cockpit with the jump seat's occupant's feed next to the pilots seat, and the pax literally breathing over the pilots shoulder might work.
I always thought it would be fun to have a Pawnee C set up as a Glider Tow Plane. Now that rig would be able to climb trees, just not too fast going cross country. Ah the dreams of youth! (40) |
