NE MO & W IL | N program for this farm: Spring applied 20 gallon of UAN with planter and then turned around and put 35 gallon of UAN on with coulter rig after planting with no stabilizer(asked retailer for instinct but they didn't have it). Plus some N from strip till cocktail of AMS and DAP. This is corn after corn. Yes, the worse spots are "wet" spots where the water just seems to sit after big rains. Needs tile badly. Needs to not rain 4 inches every week in June too!!!
Two other farms down the road, similar soil, had fall AA and UAN with planter and they look excellent. Soil N tests are much higher too. | |
