I spread N by hand spreader on 1/4 acre plots, takes maybe 20 minutes per plot. I spread 6 rows at a time. Put5 bags at one end of field, have someone pull 2 bags in a wagon. Refill as you go. It will be one mile of walking. Thats what I would do if I were worried about 1.8 acres of corn.
