If you sold your freezer beef for $3/lb your calves would only have to gain 67lbs from the 2000lbs of creep at $200/ton to break even. That means they would have to eat 30lbs of creep just to gain 1lb. That seems pretty unlikely. For you to double your money, they would need to eat 15lb of creep to gain 1lb which I would think is still a little high but is more realistic. Are you a business man Jim?
