Lapel, In | One of my best friends was an Indiana State Trooper who, for many years,was in charge of the headline entertainment at the Indiana State Fair. Dave had nothing good to say about them. Said they were the most spoiled,overbearing, obnoxious and demanding entertainers he had to deal with. Nothing he could do that pleased them. Even went so far as to get them in different accomodations when they complained about the hotel during their stay in Indy.
They were the only group Dave ever had no use for. People like Bob Hope.Red Skeleton,Dolly Parton and other bigs could not have been nicer according to him. Often took them our for minature golf and other activities while they were under his charge. | |
