says there should be no more than 5° of slope to the antenna mounting surface. It's even more fussy than I thought. Checked the slope on the hood of the Coupe and that's about 8°. It seemed to work OK when mounted there but I think I'll make a bracket to level it anyways.

The max mounting slope is mentioned in the EZ-Steer manual in three different places.
