We farm close to 1200 acres and we get it done ourselves. It is sometimes cheaper to buy larger, maybe a little older equipment than have stupid breakdowns that are caused by the lack of care. When a person is working for someone other than themselves, they tend not to care as much, because they don't have to foot the bill for the breakdown.
