| I read the original post to my wife before reading any replies - and this is exactly what I said as well. I had a coworker who grew up poor and once told me that she hated summer vacation and couldn't wait until school started up again since her and her siblings were guaranteed at least one meal a day. Fortunately, she got on the right track and is raising her family right. I'm betting that she would have been one that would have remembered what was done for her if she had something like this available back then. My guess is the rewards will be reaped when these kids get older. | |
