Subject: Hungry kids

SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!
Our church has a program during the school year that one night a week they have a meal and bible study for 60 kids on average. We also help with a summer program that feeds kids a noon meal. 150 to 200 kids. It is multidenominational and runs 5 days a week and has some goverment assistance. We were talking about discontinuing the programs as we aren't seeing any of the participitants in church at any other time. A person that spends a lot of time with both programs said "do what you want but I know that if it were not for the summer program most of those kids would get no noon meal and the evening kids would be home alone if not for us. I think you should expand it." This is small town rural America folks.
