| With so many of the new paints, you have to look at a system. Primer/sealer/surfacer, paint (basecoat), and clear (if used), all have to be compatible. It's become a lot more difficult to get all the components to work together. You really have to keep you wits about you. Should you proceed with his wishes, you need to make sure he understands that he is taking the risk on things going well. I would NOT attempt to clear just any base coat, especially tractor and implement paint. | |
