I think the original poster may have understood incorrectly. If he's talking about the thread below re. "hauling grain for the landlord...", the question was not about whether or not the driver needed anything special, the question was re. FARM PLATES on the truck. You can't haul commercially w/farm plates & the IL DOT is now saying (after 30+ yrs of silence) that when you haul your landlords share of the grain you have crossed the line into commercial trucking. Most farmers at first thought this was a joke, but sadly, it's not.
