The 50 series tractors are fine tractors in my opinion, bought my 5088 new in 82 and it was the main work horse for years and still does its share. On certain jobs I would still rather drive it than my Magnum, they shift super smooth and the torque of the IH engine is great. You would be well satisfied with a 5488 in my opinion but you know what the say about opinions...... |
