That's not even a comparison, 5488 hands down. I have a 5288 with an air ride seat, it will ride as good as any 2 wheel drive tractor out there. The never-in-the-right-gear-bang-em-hard 8 speed leaves a lot to be desired. As far as operator comfort, I would rather spend all day in my 5288 than my 4850 MFWD.
