Subject: RE: Insight Direct command no flowmeter recognized

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The Insight DC flowmeter calibration is number of pulses for one gallon. The number stamped on your Raven flowmeter is number of pulses for 10 gallons. For example, a common Raven flowmeter calibration number is 740 for use with a Raven console. If this same flow meter is used with an Insight DC system you would enter 74 (divide by 10).

You can simulate flow on the cable by unhooking it from the flowmeter. Using a paper clip or small piece of wire, short the Signal Pin (6 O'clock position) to the Signal Ground Pin (2 O'clock). As you short/no short these pins the total gallons should increase on the Insight display. This is assuming that everything is set to spray (booms On, Master On, Manual rate, Self-test speed etc.)

If you check the voltage between the pin at 10 O'clock and the one at 2 O'clock you should read +5V
