2008 running 50% K1 and NON bio fuel with fresh fuel filter, went about 2 mi in -5 degree before de rating this am. Check engine light is on but haven't checked code.
When changing filter yesterday the mechanic didn't use hand pump at first and tried cranking the engine to fill filter with bleed screw open.
When that didn't work he read book and used pump!
 When I left check eng light was on but went away upon restarting and ran fine rest of day and started with remote this AM.

I don't know if he screwed it up or just coincidence that it happened on cold morning.

Any ideas?
