| How much. i deal with the same conglomerate and have had both good and poor service. It took over a week to get a tractor hauled to the shop one time. Last time I was in the store they said they had 3 trucks for the six stores. The head trucker is great, will do all he can, but he can't do it all. Their computer program may say three trucks is enough but in the real world it isn't. i'm thinking the new generation of children who now run the stores have spent too much time with jd management types and business management schools and not enough time wih farmers. Just in time parts with a reducrd number of parts at each store and a van to shuffle parts shortages may look good on paper, but doesn't work when you miss the route driver. Store arrogance has gone up at about the same amount as the corn price. | |
