NC Iowa | it pays to to your homework. if you just call the dealer and say 'fix it' what do you expect? not everything goes as expected. do you take an active part in researching the problem, parts, and costs from different sources? some people have different levels of expectations. for some, cost is no object. just want it fixed no matter. other want it fixed as cheaply as possible. nothing wrong with either way of thinking. depending on what it is and how bad you need it. in long run, not a good idea to burn too many bridges. if you go back, you will always wonder if they are getting even somehow. they have many ways to do that and you will never know. i long as you are not using dealer for troubleshooting and buying somewhere else, nothing wrong with checking prices beforehand. sounds like you are new at this, and are getting valuable experience. | |
