Just moved this to the right forum , sorry I posted it in crop talk first by mistake
This is another good example of how the local JD Dealer screws their customers. My tractor that I move snow with had the power steering pump go out last Tuesday the 11th. I called the same local dealer(this was before I got my farm Plan bill on the cornhead) and asked them to come pick it up ASAP. Again,This was on tuesday, the 11th. Wednesday the 12th, they called me and said their truck was broke down and they wouldn't make it till thursday. Thursday the 14th, they never showed up so I called them Friday and they said they would be here Friday afternoon the 15th. They did get here then. I followed the truck to the dealership and I was told they would get the tractor in to the shop aand start working on it yet that day.
Monday the 17th (after getting the farm plan bill that was talked about in my other post) I stopped down to the dealer again and noticed the tractor was still sitting out side and they hadn't started working on it yet. I reminded them again I needed it to move snow. Here's where it gets good, there were two mechanics working on a tractor that belonged to the service writer and no one was working on my (the customer) tractor. Yesterday I get a text from the service writer that my tractor needs a part they don't have in stock and they will get the part via "machine down" which means they will get it the next day but I have to pay a 15% surcharge to get it. I have to pay extra to get a part because after a week of waiting they all of a sudden are in a hurry ??? I'm sorry that is BS and just typical of what goes on there. Before everyone jumps on me for being a fool twice, remember that I had already spoken to them about fixing my tractor and it was sitting on their lot before I got the cornhead bill.
Then today I got a call from the dealership wondering why I'm badmouthing them on the internet. So thanks to who ever on here emailed my previous thread to them.
