I Tivo as many JohnWayne, Jimmy Stewart, and Clint Eastwood Westerns as I can....... and right now I'm sitting here catching up on a few.

I've been seeing the commercials of True Grit.....and just can't help but wonder-- Are our film makers that played out that they can't make something "NEW"??  any more....it seems half of the good movies are remakes.  Some of the comments are making a guy optomistic on this one....maybe they just borrowed the name and story line?


With that said, I'm betting a bunch of the Responders above...did book reports the same way I did, growing up*GRIN*

All the books I did reports on happened to have a movie based on them (insert smiley )
