I know the biggest majority of users here don't have to deal with Hours of Service rules since you are usually close to home on farm business. But if you do truck on the side or have drivers that do, you need to look at what they are proposing. The biggies I see are they are thinking about cutting the hours on duty allowed to 13 consecutive, and only 10 hours driving. Also you won't be able to drive more than 7 hours without taking a 30 minute 'off duty' break. And to get your 34 hour reset you will only have one chance in a week for that to count, and it will have to have two periods of 12pm-6am. What a crock. It will be nearly impossible to stay compliant if they do enact all these rules.
