Eastern Iowa | I know the Coen brothers, who produced the current version, have been shying people away from the idea that this is a "remake" of the John Wayne movie. They supposedly didn't even look at it because they didn't want to be compared to it. Their movie is apparently their take on the original book.
I haven't seen it yet, just got out to see Tron last weekend in 3D, and trips to the movies are few and far between around here...... | |
