Deere didn't actually build their telehandlers, they subcontracted it out to some European outfit that put it together using parts from Britain, Germany, and who knows where else. And yes, it doesn't seem to be available any longer.

The early 3x00 models had a few issues, but overall, we've been pretty happy with the 3400. It's been pretty easy to resolve problems through the dealer. Beats the ol' 4430PS front loader all to pieces.
