southern MN | This place kinda evolved out of a rebellion against another site.
So it's kinda set up how we all like it, simple & useable to our tastes, within what the software those who run this place can afford/use.
In short, it is this way becasue we like it this way. Adding more features costs more, and then we have ads, and then we have slowdowns, and....
We don't want that.
If you want to chat or text or email, go ot one of those sites, which leaves people out. This place is good at transfering info & fun across the internet to the whole group. All of us, not just a few.
Many of the features you mention are available, in the different settings and searches you can do.
Don't mean to be short with you, just how I feel. ;)
