southern MN | We studied it in history class back when, high school. Probably not well, but at least covered. I remember playing a game that was about farming, disasters kept hitting, was supposed to be a no-way out situation. I k=inda saw that coming from the subject matter, so I lost a little less than others.
Dad said 1988 was way, way drier than anything in the dust bowl years, but that was up here in Minnesota, where the dust bowl was not quite so dusty. and 1988 was bad locally.
