People turn them loose all the time now a days. We just took in a pony that had been turned loose about 45 miles from us. It was running loose for about three weeks until the county sheriff animal control officer finally got a hold of it then contacted us. People just drove by it and honked to get it off the road. It was surprising that coyotes didn't get it first.
Is there a place to get rid of horses?
