Technology in the schools or on the farm. It is a tool to use or to abuse. You can spend a lot of money on tech and not get anything out of it. If you want technology to work witch means putting a lot of time and effort in it you will have some good results. Just buying a computer or GPS system doesn't get you much. There is a balance to be reached and a plan needs to be thought out of how are we going to use this. Technology is here to stay I think we are still learning what we need it to do. My kids are doing more research home work then I did because of the web. I think there is a place for computers I think you can throw away a lot of money on computers.
I also know that the parents problem is a lot bigger then the Technology one. Some teachers let the kids that want to learn use the computers and baby sit the rest of the class who doesn't want to learn. A lack of parents is a lot bigger problem. imho
