Yeah, and I bet this is gonna be one of those things that will go down in NAT history as a legendary inside joke where someone at one of the gatherings will come up with a question and someone else will quip, "Matches!" and it will all end up being an opportunity for guffaws anew. (I hope!) (Challenge:  how many questions can you think of that have the answer "Matches!" lol)

Kind of one of those things that seemed serious at the time but you look back and laugh at later.

In college I got a day-old baby duck as a joke.  I raised her and she lived for 6 years and produced over 300 eggs.  My college friends were always having barbeques at parks and such and I'd bring Beep (she was a Muscovy so didn't quack).  They'd always look at me sideways with a glint in their eye and ask me when we were having roasted duck with plum sauce.  Of course I knew it was a big joke, but someone else might not have taken it tongue-in-cheek.
