NE Colorado | I sprayed some kochia weeds this spring with 32 oz. glyphosate and all it did was stunt them a little bit. And if glyphosate cannot kill my number one weed problem, kochia, I do not need RR corn.
I am also lucky that where I farm rotation still works for rootworm control and ear pests aren't much of a problem either.
The problem is seed dealers keep trying to push GMO corn on me, even wanting to give free bags of it to try out and I do not want it. Just wish conventional corn hybrids were as easy to get as the GMO ones.
As for Smartstax, it seems to me it ought to be called "SmartPacts" because now Monsanto and Dow do not have to compete against one another, just collude and charge more. | |
