Yes these are suppose to control earworm but with the hot weather this year infestations have been quite high and the worm usually has to eat two to three kernels before it will die. If you get two to three worms per ear they can still create a measurable loss. The bt versions are showing more feeding here also but last year in the cool weather had very very little earworm pressure.
