It's still going to tell you by weight that there is seed in the box but with these drills, the outsides are always down first and you could still have wheat in that box to sow according to the scale but the outside meters are not getting any seed as it is out of seed on the ends.
A contraption that allows some sort of site or some sort of an alert buzzer when the outside quits passing seed would be best. An electronic eye could probably be doable. Personally, I want to be able to watch it somehow with my own eyes but I live with electronic eyes on the planter, I can probably live with one on the drill.
Now who makes a sensor that will fit between the meter cup and flex hose on these drills? (personally for me, a 455 deere) | |
