Subject: Re: How many still plant conventional corn hybrids?

Martinsville, Ohio
I still plant all non GMO hybrids and yes it is getting harder to find hybrids that aren't GMO, corn or soybeans.

Here I have First Choice out of Indiana, Schillinger which is EMerge and Porter Hybrids. They all look good.

Others in the area are Beck's, Seed Consultants, Pioneer, Ebberts and a few others.

I have tried the organic route but you get naked seed with no treatments and treatment is key to my desired hybrid performance.

I just got the Emerge hybrid lineup on pdf files if anyone is interested and the others are releasing their 2011 lineups also.

You can get the First Choice lineup from Angelia Sherman at [email protected] and see the hybrids at their Field Day Friday Sept 3 in Rush County south of US 40 and off SR 3. I have the address here somewhere and I think I posted it below on the two field days I mentioned.

Here it is,

Sept 3 is Mark Denzler's Field Day at 4165 E. 800 North, Rushville, Indiana.
