NW Tennessee | Yeah, we used to just plant enough certified wheat to grow new seed and save our own for the rest. I suspect with the run-up in prices a lot of guys looking for seed didn't grow any last year or are going to expand acreage. We went six years without wheat and didn't miss it at all. Then grew it again two years in a row after the last price jump. I've learned never to say never, but I don't plan on planting any this time. | |
