I talked to Brad yesterday and he didn't get anything at his house or his farm so I assume I didn't get much of anything over there. There has been rain around for the last couple weeks, just never hits where we farm. We are getting a lot of sizeable brown patches in the beans so I figure it won't be long until they all give it up. Like you say the milo is gray and I don't think it will be too long before it starts falling over. Oh well, maybe we will chop it. It is getting close to that point where I may start rooting against the rain. Nothing I hate worse than the thought of having to patch around and just have it come off the insurance. Sometimes it is better to just have a total loss. Been a few years but I can remember when the conventional planted beans got zeroed out and those guys got to just go drill their wheat into the standing beans and we were stuck with harvesting our 15 to 25 bushel beans at a loss compared to them so we could plant our wheat.
