Wyoming
I am nearly throwing up from anger. Those people are so stupid. Roundup beets increase use of herbicides? They have no idea the mix of multiple things we had to spray before to get not near the control we can with roundup. And we had them for 2 years and for how many years in corn and soybeans? How is killing off the US sugarbeet industy helpful to the US? We've had the best tonnage we ever had with roundup beets, in part because it's impossible to find fields here that can be cleaned up with the conventional chemicals, and because those chemicals always hurt the beets too, and because we can do things like strip till so we don't lose them to wind and rain in the spring as much.
