Subject: Re: Trimble Foot Engage Switch...agree & questions

Chebanse, IL.....

Ted

We had same foot switch installed in 4wd w/autopilot. It seemed like good idea for RH foot since there's nothing for that foot to do in 4wd, no individual brakes anyway. But-we found it uncomfortable to use & found it more comfortable to use the wired remote control of the EZ Guide. I wish (this always gives someone else the chance...) there were a way to simply wire a momentary switch on the hyd stick or a rocker type that can be attached to the RH console instead of larger wired remote control. Is that possible?

Then Ted, I'll ask, if you don't mind, what differences you will expect to see/find in going to the new 500 EZ for your autopilot? Can you describe the physical size difference, if any?

Thanks
