Columbia City, IN | Right now i've got a guy lined up to do custom harvesting for us at $25 per acre. Once Dad retires, we'll probably invest in a combine.
I will probably forward sell.
Not sure on storage. The farmer custom harvesting has offered. I guess that would depend on spot sale prices and how wet the grain may be as well as how much is already committed to forward contracts.
For simplicity sake, I would imagine any non-contracted bushels will be sold right off the combine. | |
