I guess I look at it that loan payments should be made out of income....hopefully the income stream is an ongoing thing, same as the loan payments. Using a one-time source of funds to pay an ongoing expense doesn't look like a good business plan to me. Trading equity(ethanol plant stock) for equity(land equity) is pretty much taking it out of one pocket and putting it in the other. After another reading, if he was talking about using ethanol stock money for a land down payment on a deal that otherwise couldn't happen, that's another whole can'o'worms. |
