Subject: RE: EZ Steer T2 mounting

NE CO
I screwed the supplied mounting plate to the floor of my Dodge Pickup sprayer under the dirver's seat. But when I priced additional mounting plates at my Case dealer, and they quoted me $95 I decided to make my own. However, when I needed to mount the T2 unit in my Case MX200 tractor, I just drilled holes in the rubber floor mat on the right rear of the seat, and stuck machine screws up through the mat. I put a washer on each side of the mat and screwed a nut down tight against the mat to hold the screws in place. Then I just mount the T2 unit on the screws. It seems to work fine. I was a little worried about how solid the mount had to be too, but I think that as long as it doesn't move or vibrate, this is fine. Main thing is to make sure it doesn't move with time, especially tilt because that would change the T2 calibration angle.
