factory farmer is right- the biggest issue we see is striking out the land, getting the offset right. Finally just let it overlap on the first round striking out and then all the rest seam to stay pretty good. variable width plow helps too but your not suppose to adjust on the go. We actually plow at a 5 deg angle each year and alternate the next year. fields stay leveler and plow runs leveler also- never have the gauge wheel on top or in the bottom of a row the length of the field which keeps your depth more even.
